Cant Push Bike With Clutch In
This is a not a good ridingdriving habit.
Cant push bike with clutch in. I could not but then with it running i put it in gear and then i could roll ahead ok. If you are experiencing some resistance in your clutch pull or feel that it is dragging and hard to pull check out these two clutch components on your machine. After i dropped my first bike it was hard to push with the clutch in for a while too but it eventually got easier. My clutch feels good on the track but when kicking into gear for the first time of the day it hits pretty hard.
Without the bike running and cold should i be able to roll this thing around. It wasnt this way before i rode today and i didnt do anything that could have damaged the clutch. Or is it normal for the clutch to be like this before you start the bike. However i have seen a lot of people using the clutch while using the breaks.
Is this normal or is there something wrong with the clutch. While slowing down the bike the breaks should be applied. Adjusting the cable free p. The engine was recently replaced so i dont know if thats anything to do with it.
Just part of a wet clutch. After a ride i went on today i noticed my bike 04 wr250 is almost impossible to push with it in gear and the clutch in. Overtime they wear out and simply. Its a 1975 honda cb125s.
Its perfectly okay to simply push down the shift lever when you want to shift down without pulling in the clutch lever at all. Also it engages pretty quick as the lev. When you shift up however you should use the clutch. Hold the clutch in and begin pushing.
Any questions or comments leave them down below. It wouldnt be wise to always upshift without the clutch on a dirt bike. A clutch should only be used when there is a need to shift gears. Cant explain why but than can be another cause if thats happened.
In this video i demonstrate one of the several ways your dirt bikes clutch may not be engaging or disengaging. If your oil is fine though than i think its just normal for the bike. This will require a stretch of open space in front of you so clear the area of any obstructions before beginning. Pulling in the clutch doesnt seem to do anything.
Most guides recommend getting the bike to a speed of at least 5 mph 80 kmh for a successful push starting.
